Great opening last night at the National Academy Museum, featuring Emma Amos “Worksuit” in the show “Her Own Style: An Artists’ Eye with Judith Shea”.

Emma Amos awarded a Civitella Ranieri Visual Arts Fellowship

Emma Amos was awarded a Civitella Ranieri Visual Arts Fellowship for the 2013-2014 season.

The Fellowship includes a 6-week residency at the 15th century castle in Umbria, Italy and round trip transportation.

Talk at Birmingham Museum in Alabama

Emma Amos was invited and spoke about her work since the Spiral Group to her latest paintings. In addition to showing Measuring Measuring, part of the Museum’s collection, its chief curator, Emily Hanna, is preparing an exhibition on the Spiral Group for December 2010, which will feature some of Emma’s works from that period.…
